We currently have very limited availability for both assessment and counselling appointments. We also have a waiting list that is quite long.

We do not feel it is in the best interest of a child to wait more than 4 weeks for their first counselling appointment or more than 8 to 10 weeks for an assessment. Please note, the only new counselling cases that Lizette personally will accept are ones where she will work jointly with another psychologist.  This means that both Lizette and her colleague will conduct the initial consultation and plan the ongoing approach.  Lizette will continue to be involved in planning therapy and tracking progress, and may participate in further sessions, but Lizette will not be the main psychologist.
